God values us

 

1, God made us in his own image:

'God created human beings in his own image. In God’s image he created them;' Gen 1:27a

 

2, He paid the highest price for us by giving that which he values most:

'For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.' John 3:16

 

3, God chose us out of an unbelieving world:

'Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. For the gate is narrow and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.' Mat 7:13-14

'Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.' 1 Cor 1:20-21

4, God appointed and equipped us to overcome the world:

'For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.' 1 John 5:4
